Arrangements in Full Swing for YS Jagan’s Swearing-in

Amaravathi: Elaborate arrangements are being made in Vijayawada for the swearing-in ceremony of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. Governor ESL Narasimhan will administer the oath of office to YS Jagan on May 30 at 12:23 PM at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Vijayawada.

Chief Secretary LV Subramaniam held a meeting to this effect with officials concerned from 15 departments and instructed them of necessary arrangements. He specifically told them to ensure that everything went as per plan as YSRCP leaders and supporters would attend the ceremony in hordes from across the State. The Indira Gandhi Stadium is zeroed in on as it can accommodate as many as 40,000 people.

DGP RP Thakur, Krishna District Collector Imtiyaz Ahmed, and other senior officials were presented in the meeting.
