TDP Leaders Attack RTC Bus Driver In Anantapur

Anantapur, Kalyanadurgam: For not halting the bus according to his requirement, Narasapuram Prasad, convenor of the TDP Beluguppa Mandal, attacked a Karnataka RTC Bus Driver with his followers.

Going into the details, the RTC bus started from Kalyanadurgam bus stand to Bengaluru at 9.10 am. Narasapuram Prasad, along with his followers traveling in his car, stopped the bus at Bypass road. While the driver, Timmaraju waited for the passengers to board the bus, he took off after waiting for a long time. Upset with this, the TDP leader sped the vehicle and attempted to overtake the bus.

Finally, he blocked the road for the bus after reaching the Yerramalli gate. The convenor along with his followers attacked the bus driver. While the bus driver attempted to take a photo of the car number on his cell phone, the car driver and the TDP followers once again attacked him due to which he sustained severe injuries to his right eye and his left arm.

Following the incident, the bus driver along with the passengers filed a complaint at the Kalyanadurgam police station. He later was admitted to the hospital for treatment. The police have registered a case in this regard.
