Idupulapaya, Dr. YSR Kadapa district: YSR Congress Party Honorary President YS Vijayamma paid homage to the memory of her husband, former chief minister, late Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy, at his memorial in Idupulapaya Ghat here on Friday. Addressing the media here later, YS Vijayamma said that it pained her to see the contrast between Dr. YSR's welfare governance and the present government's insensitive rule. She said that YS Jagan alone could usher in Rajanna Rajyam under which all sections of society would be taken care of.

YS Vijayamma pointed out that over the past ten years, YS Jagan had spent most of his time amidst the people. She observed that he had gained a deep insight into the suffering of the masses under TDP regime during the course of his 14-month long Padayatra. YS Vijayamma appealed to the people of the state to stand by credibility and trustworthiness and support YSRCP.

YS Vijayamma remarked that Chandrababu had nothing to show by way of his own achievements and therefore, took to maligning YS Jagan all the time. She said that people should vote for YSRCP because it stood for value-based politics.

YS Vijayamma is scheduled to address election rallies in Prakasam district on Friday starting with Kandukuru at 10.00 am, Kanigiri in the afternoon and Markapuram at 4.00 pm. She will rest for the night at Markapuram and address an election rally at 10.00 am on Saturday at Yerragondapalem.
