YSRCP Worker Nani’s Brother Dies In Road Accident

Eluru: YSR Congress party leader Kamireddy Nani's brother was killed in a road accident on Saturday.

Kamireddy Nani was arrested by the police for allegedly sharing the video of TDP MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar hurling abuses at Dalits during a Janmabhoomi public meeting in Dendaluru, West Godavari. The video went viral on social media leading to Dalits taking up to protests against the MLA.

Demanding Kamireddy Nani's release, his brother Aditya protested against the arrest at the police station the entire night on Sunday. Following his brother's bail, Aditya headed in his car to drop his relatives home. However, on the way, a RTC bus collided with the car near Vegiwada village in Pedavegi mandal.

Aditya succumbed to death on the spot and a relative of his, an elderly woman sustained injuries and was rushed to the Eluru Government Hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard and police have begun the investigation. Further details are awaited.
