Prakasam Girl Seeks Financial Help For Medical Treatment

Prakasam: "I want to live, But, my days are numbered. My parents are struggling to support my medical bills since a year. The doctors said that my treatment would cost Rs 50 lakhs. Could somebody please help me?" these are the words of 14-year-od Sohail, who was diagnosed with Pulmonary hypertension, Ventricular Septin defect and Eisenmenger's syndrome. Sohail pleaded for help at a press conference held at Siri Events hall here on Friday.

Sohail said that the doctors found three holes in her heart. "Given my condition, the doctors have confirmed that there is no other option but to transplant my heart. They said that I will need Rs 2 lakh before surgery and Rs 35 lakhs after the surgery," she said.
