AP Now A Farmer Friendly Government: YS Jagan

AMARAVATI: Calling their Government as farmer's friendly, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that their government is not like it was with the previous CM Chandrababu Naidu. He also said that they are taking steps for the betterment of farmers in the state. He said that they will announce the price for crops before the harvest. He also added that a press release will be given which includes the prices of crops on Thursday. He pointed out that the government had paid Rs 960 crores of debt which were due in the past government.

Andhra Pradesh finance minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy hit out at Chandrababu Naidu during the winter session of AP Assembly on Tuesday and said that Chandrababu has lured farmers with a loan guarantee scheme. Chandrababu government has made it impossible for banks to provide loans to farmers. TDP leaders have allegedly looted thousands of crores of rupees in the name of the Neeru-Chettu scheme. He also alleged that Chandrababu Naidu has cancelled a zero per cent interest scheme in the state. He also said that discom funds were used for the Annadatha Sukhibava scheme.
