Controversial film critic, actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Kathi Mahesh took to social media about Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's promise of dividing the SC Corporation.

Sharing the GO of the order, he said that - As promised CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has initiated the process of dividing SC corporation into three. One for Malas, one for Madigas and another one for Relli & Rest of the castes among SCs for economic empowerment.

Mahesh Kathi is known to be quite vocal about his opinions whether it's on films, politics or politicians on social media and on television.

After posting the abstract of the GO, he took a dig at Pawan Kalyan in an another message where he 'demanded' that the Chief Minister appoint Pawan Kalyan as a special representative for the Relli and rest of the caste corporation.

In a snide remark against the Jana Sena Party chief, he remarked that Pawan Kalyan had already converted to the Relli caste and promised to fight for their cause. In this case it would be appropriate that the State Government take a decision to this effect as a 'special consideration'.

This statement was a reminder of Pawan Kalyan's statement made in a public meeting in 2018, where he declared that he was embracing the social identity of the Rellis, a disadvantaged caste in the North Coastal districts of the State. ."A person's caste and religion are not in his hands. It's decided by birth. Given an opportunity by God, I would wish to take my next birth in the Relli caste, so that they get equal opportunity in society", the Jana Sena Party chief said.

This was probably Mahesh Kathi's gentle reminder to Pawan Kalyan about his promise and change of caste made last year. Pawan Kalyan Jana Sena Party was routed in the Andhra Pradesh Elections this year winning only one seat from Razole.
