Amaravati: TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is the only leader in the world who raises questions and cast aspersions against the public for his party's loss in the election without respecting their mandate, remarked YSRCP State general secretaray C Ramachandraiah.

Dejected over the humiliating defeat in the recent elections, Chandrababu in a recent meeting with Vemuru constituency party leaders and workers on Wednesday is believed to have poured out his heart and expressed anger as how tables have turned in the State politically. Ramachandraiah comments were made against this backdrop.

"By crying foul - time and again - and blaming people for giving him 23 seats only, amounts to disrespecting the electors and their wisdom," Ramachandraiah said and added that there was no way TDP was going to come out of the crisis that had befallen the party and hence so many leaders were ditching the party.

On Chandrababu's remarks that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was going to Delhi only to lodge complaint and foist cases against him with the help of the Centre, the YSRCP leader said it was laughable and in turn asked why he was nervous.

"If he is frightened about YS Jagan meeting the Central leaders, it only points out that he is afraid that he will have to pay for his misdeeds. He is accepting that he has indulged in corruption," he added.

Clarifying that YS Jagan visits to the national capital were only aimed at prevailing upon the Centre to resolve several outstanding issues and promises made to the State after bifurcation, he advised that Chandrababu should have consulted doctors about his mental health when he had recently gone to the United States of America.

A visibly furious Chandrababu in a recent meeting with his party leaders and cadre said it was unfathomable for him to come to terms with the fact that the TDP had won only 23 seats. "Pallichchey Avunu Kaadhani.... Dunnapothu Lanti Prabhuttvanni Ennukunnaru," he fumed, and the statement loosely translates as people voted for a government which is like a male buffalo instead of a milch cow like his party.
