Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday is likely to visit New Delhi on August 6-7 to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and seek the Centre's assistance for financial support to the state.
It is expected the YS Jagan will also take up various pending issues including the Special Category Status to AP and speak about them to the PM.
YS Jagan is also likely to meet union home minister Amit Shah and also finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman and will also call in President Ram Nath Kovind and vice-president M. Venkaiah Naidu.
Meanwhile, CM YS Jagan embarked on a personal visit to the holy city of Jerusalem in Israel from August 1 till August 4. This is his first overseas trip since assuming office in May. His family members accompanied him on the tour.
