Amaravati: Minister for Municipal Administration Botsa Satyanarayana warned TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to vacate his Lingamaneni Estate immediately, otherwise, legal charges would be pressed against him.

Responding to the questions raised by TDP members in the Legislative Council, Satyanarayana informed that notices were already served on 26 illegal constructions on Krishna river.

"The guidelines issued by the National Green Tribunal will be complied with in full. We all have the responsibility of safeguarding the Krishna river and the embankment. No illegal construction will be tolerated," he added.

Despite TDP moving the High Court to request it to stop the demolition of Praja Vedika earlier, he said the court did not intervene as it was an illegal structure. He reiterated that the YSRCP government's drive to demolish illegal structures were not aimed at settling any political scores, but was well-intentioned to safeguard environment and mitigate any future disasters.
