Amaravati: Fiery YSR Congress leader and Sattenapalli MLA, Ambati Rambabu lambasted former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu in the budget session in the AP legislative assembly on Tuesday. Criticising the TDP chief chief for promising to include Kapus among BC communities though he was aware of the fact that it was not possible, Rambabu said that Chandrababu had deceived the Kapu community. The YSRCP leader reminded the House that Kapus were arrested and jailed for seeking reservations during Chandrababu's tenure. He reminded the assembly of unlawful cases foisted on protestors in the Tuni incident. Further, not a single person has been questioned in the case, he added.

Ambati Rambabu requested Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to order an inquiry into the Tuni incident. Chandrababu claims that 5% of the 10% reservations given to economically backward communities was assigned to Kapus, though he knew that constitutionally this was not possible.

Ambati Rambabu flayed the TDP chief for deceiving the Kapu community through the years. He further questioned Chandrababu on why he was living in an illegal construction and the reason for his sudden shift from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. Was it because the TDP chief was caught red-handed in the 'Note for Vote' case, he asked.
