Vijayawada: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) 'Twitter War' continued on Monday with Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani reacting sharply to the comments made by TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna yesterday. Addressing the TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu directly, he said that he was ready to resign if he Chandrababu didn't want him. He said that he was even ready to resign from his MP post and party membership and if Chandrababu wanted people like to him to continue in his party, he should control his ''pet dog'', which was a direct reference to Buddha Venkanna.
This tweet has sparked off a furore in the party circles as it was clear threat to its leader. The open rift amongst the senior leaders in the TDP in Krishna district has further aggravated.
On Sunday Kesineni Nani made sarcastic tweet against TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna starting that a person who couldn't garner four votes, has got himself four posts. Not just that, a person who cannot read or write beyond few words is actually tweeting, which is most unfortunate. In a rejoinder Buddha Venkanna tweeted that what the TDP needed was someone who would fight for the party and the party's leader in the times of crisis. A person who joins forces with the opposition parties was dangerous. The party doesn't need opportunistic people like you, it needs someone who could fight for Chandrababu like a soldier who is ready to lay down his life.
