Tadipatri: TDP leader and former MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy threatened a granite quarry owner named Subba Rao who belonged to Kanakadripalli in Kurnool district for leaving the party, on Sunday.

The quarry owner in question was a close aide of the JC brothers and was ferrying granite in the surrounding areas. With the YSRCP government, putting an end to their atrocities and their hold over the Anantapur region, JC Prabhakar Reddy was abusing him and also threatening others if they tried to leave the party. This was seen as a desperate measure to retain party members in it fold as they were slowly deserting them after the election debacle, where the TDP was routed.

JC Prabhakar Reddy threatened him that if he wanted to conduct his business peacefully he and wanted his lorries to ferry granite, he had better show allegiance to them.
