Dharmavaram Rural: BJP leader Gonuguntla Suryanarayana (Varadapuram Suri) alleged that Paritala family was making desperate attempts to come to Dharmavaram region after their debacle in the recently concluded Assembly elections in Rapthadu.

Speaking to the press at the BJP local party office on Saturday, he said that TDP leader and former minister Paritala Sunita had done nothing for the development of Rapthadu. Instead, she appointed in-charges for the mandals and robbed the people there. As if that was not enough, she now wants to enter Dharmavaram and do the same, he said.

Suri criticised her and her family for encouraging group politics in the region which had done nothing for TDP's progress there. He reminded that she had opposed the water inflow to the Dharmavaram lake some time ago. He said with his personal funds he had worked for the TDP unlike her who maintained a friendship with the leaders for her own personal gains, he scoffed.

Varadapuram Suri said that he would continue to be with the BJP and he would support the leaders who have been with him for the past 15 years. People weren't getting a pension in many places and he would bring it to the notice of the District Collector, he promised. Several local leaders like Syam Rao, Sudershan Reddy, Sake Obulesu and others participated in the event.
