Vijaywada: Minister for State Home Affairs Kishan Reddy said that TDP faced a massive loss in the elections because of its chief Chandrababu Naidu's arrogance, who spoke beyond his brief and stature.
Launching BJP's membership drive in Vijayawada on Sunday, Reddy sneered at Chandrababu: "While he went around the country promoting that Narendra Modi was losing, but towards the end it is Chandrababu and his party which lost the elections badly."
Continuing with his tirade, he said that the people of Andhra Pradesh had taught a lesson to Chandrababu and TDP for striking an alliance with the Congress party. The Congress is in a pitiable situation across the country and its supporters do not know who their president is, he added.
Stating that the country is surging ahead under the leadership of Prime Narendra Modi, he said there was no animosity between different religions under the BJP's rule. He added that the BJP is committed to the development of Andhra Pradesh.
