YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy phoned TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to invite the latter for the swearing-in ceremony. The YSR Congress party, led by YS Jagan won the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections with a thumping majority. The landslide win has made the entire country sit up and take notice of the young CM to-be.

The chief minister designate called the former AP CM to invite him to the oath taking ceremony on May 30 in Vijayawada. YS Jagan is yet to announce the names of his ministers in the cabinet. With the suspense over ministers and their portfolios building up, YS Jagan is gearing up to take oath as the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Arrangements are in full swing and the guest list too is being prepared, it is learnt. YS Jagan's swearing-in ceremony will take place at Indira Gandhi municipal stadium in Vijayawada. Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao will be among dignitaries who are expected to attend the event.

YS Jagan also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi after winning the elections. During his one-day visit to Delhi, the AP CM designate explained to PM Modi about the need for granting Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh. Modi is believed to have assured the Centre's full support to the new Andhra chief minister.
