YSR Congress Party under the leadership of its supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy created a record in the history of Andhra Pradesh politics. It was a win never seen before. The partywon 151 MLA and 22 MP seats in the just concluded Assembly and Lok Sabha elections 2019 respectively.

The party gained power with a thumping majority. The landslide victory of YSRCP has become a hot topic of discussion in the political circles. The first time people sat up and took notice of this young chief minister designate (YS Jagan Mohan Reddy) was when he successfully completed his 14 month long padayatra braving the rain and the heat.

Now, for the second time YS Jagan has caught the attention of people. His party has decimated TDP which is anchored by Chandrababu Naidu who claims to be the senior most politician in the country with a career spanning 40 years. The Telugu Desam Party won just 23 Assembly seats while Jana Sena headed by actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan won just one.
