Kadapa: Rayachoti YSR Congress Party candidate, Gadikota Srikanth Reddy thanked the voters of Andhra Pradesh for coming out in large numbers to cast their vote, disregarding the heat and the inordinate delay in polling with some defective EVMs in places.

He said that the people were vexed with the five years of the Telugu Desam Party rule, which was totally undemocratic and which worked solely to further Chandrababu Naidu's selfish motives. Srikanth Reddy said that the people came out to vote out of sheer angst against Chandrababu's tyrannical attitude. He said that the future was now going to be bright and the focus would be on the path of development, he said.

Speaking to the media on Friday, he expressed his confidence that with the YSRCP Government would be devoted to people's welfare.

Srikanth Reddy said that the TDP had created an anarchic situation and spread false rumours against the YSRCP. The TDP also indulged in personal attacks against them and created a feeling of chaos in the state. Not stopping there, Chandrababu used the Yellow Media for promoting false news against the YSRCP leaders. The state is in a crisis and there was drought in the region, he said. People were struggling for basic drinking water and the TDP was to be blamed for the situation, he said. Pointing a finger at the TDP government, he commented that it had misused government funds for its election campaigns.

YS Jagan's admirers and people from across the Telugu states and even from Gulf countries had come to their hometowns to vote for YSRCP Expressing his gratitude to them, Gadikota Srikanth Reddy said that overcoming financial problems and other issues, people had come to vote and work for the party's victory and that the YSRCP was extremely grateful and hopes to repay them, he concluded.
