Cheated By TDP, AP Looks Forward To Better Days Under Rajanna Rajyam

As the curtains come down and to use a worn out cliché—high decibel campaign in Andhra Pradesh, the state appears poised for a change. People are no longer prepared to wait or get carried away by deception and false promises. In YS Jagan, they see credibility and hope. They see promise of a better state over the next few years powered by authentic development and not power point presentations and graphic representations of non-existent buildings. They see the likelihood of a state transformed by genuine human touch which will bring welfare governance to the doorstep of every home, regardless of caste, community or region.

The people of the state see the genuine possibility of government funded education for their children from KG to PG. Farmers of the state look forward to a time when their fields will turn fertile with the completion of pending irrigation projects with promised investment of Rs 12,500 a year and the cover of crop insurance. They hope and pray that the YSRCP comes to power so that they can get minimum support price for their crops. And their loans would be waived. More than anything else, the farmer looks forward to other important benefits like nine hours of free electricity during the day, a calamity relief fund of Rs 4,000 crore, cold storage units and food processing centres in every single constituency. He knows that he would prosper under Rajanna Rajyam.

Women know that they would be safer and more secure under the new dispensation. DWCRA women Self Help Groups look forward to loan waivers. Mothers, who send their children to school are certain that their chosen party would give them Rs 15000 as promised under Rajanna Rajyam. They also know that villages will be rid of the scourge of alcoholism and that the pervasive presence of belt shops will be removed in a phased manner. Women also look forward to zero interest loans under Rajanna Rajyam. They also feel confident that all women from SC/ST/BC and Minority groups over 45 would benefit from YSR Cheyutha giving an amount of Rs 75000 per woman over a period of four years.

Students turn to the YSR Congress Party with hope and envision a future where they would find employment after their education. They know that as promised, YS Jagan would commit himself to fee reimbursement and an allowance of Rs 20,000. The poor and the neediest of the needy know that they will now have access to corporate healthcare and that regardless of which city a medical facility is located in, all expenses would be borne by the government for their treatment.

The homeless turn to the future with hope aware that they would soon find a roof over their heads with YS Jagan set to become the next chief minister of the state.

Senior citizens are joyous at the prospect of a pension of Rs 3000 promised to them while the physically challenged look forward to a pension of Rs 3000 promised under Rajanna Rajyam. The certainty of eligibility criteria in terms of age bring reduced to 60 years holds out hope to pensioners and brings cheer into their lives.

People from backward classes exude confidence and feel empowered with the YSRCP fielding 41 candidates from the communities. They know that separate corporations for different communities and social groups would be set up under YSRCP to give them their place under the sun. The concept of a village secretariat is set to revolutionize the governance, the masses feel. They know that they will no longer have to run from pillar to post to get their grievances resolved.

The Muslims feel empowered by the vision of YSRCP and the hope of a better tomorrow for them under Rajanna Rajyam.

Investors and the youth of the state know that YSRCP would fight tirelessly to achieve Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh.

In effect, all segments of society are waiting for Andhra Pradesh to turn a new leaf and for the reins of leadership to pass into the hands of YSRCP president, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
