Vijayawada: YSRCP Lok Sabha candidate from Bapatla, Nandigama Suresh lashed out at Telugu actor Sivaji for reading lines scripted by the TDP. He said Sivaji was someone who lived off the crumbs thrown by Chandrababu Naidu. Suresh described Sivaji as a package star who made absurd statements to suit Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP.

The Lok Sabha candidate from YSRCP addressed the media here on Sunday. He questioned Sivaji as to why the actor who said that Chandrababu Naidu had blocked the progress of the state and had in fact, ruined it by not securing special category status, was now singing a different tune. The actor who appeared to have no movie assignments and was out of work was now giving interviews to news channels and doing the rounds of their offices.

The Lok Sabha candidate from Bapatla fighting on behalf of the YSR Congress party derided Sivaji as someone who would accept a package and start speaking as per the prescription given to him. The people of the state refused to believe in the falsehoods being propagated by the yellow media which was caste fixated, Suresh said. People had immense faith in the leadership of YS Jagan and this was evident everywhere, he said. Chandrababu Naidu had looted the resources of the state over five years, he said.

Nandigama Suresh further said that Chandrababu Naidu had cheated the people of the state with respect to lands in the capital city of Amravati. He added that he was ready for a debate on this issue. Suresh also predicted that the 2019 elections would be the last polls for Chandrababu Naidu who might flee to Singapore after the elections. He exuded confidence that the YSR Congress party would secure a clear victory and YS Jagan would be crowned the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
