Rajamahendravaram: The parliamentary constituency general observer Sreya P Singh has said that agents of political parties must come to the polling stations with their identity cards on polling day and cooperate with the officials on duty.
Singh has warned that any deviation from the election commission guidelines will be viewed strictly.
She was speaking after the completion of randomisation of EVMs of Kovvur assembly constituency on Thursday. Representatives from Telugu Desam Party, YSR Congress Party, Bharatiya Janata party, Jana Sena Party, Rashtriya Praja Congress and Left Parties were present.
Meanwhile, parliamentary constituency returning officer Nishant Kumar asked polling agents to be present at the booths by 6 am on April 11 and take part in mock polling which starts at 8 am to get a hold of the working of the EVMs.
