YS Bharathi, the wife of YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy exhorted the people of Pulivendula to vote for her husband for the assembly election and cast their franchise in favour of party candidate YS Avinash Reddy for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat. She urged voters to ensure their victory by huge margins. YS Bharathi was campaigning in Vempalli, accompanied by MP candidate Avinash Reddy’s wife Sumatha Reddy. Interacting with local women folk later. YS Bharathi said that she was not new to Vempalli and that was well aware of the problems which plagued the area.

Over the past five years, the TDP government had not sanctioned any houses, she pointed out. YS Bharathi added that under YSRCP women would get justice and not only would homes be built but they would be registered in the names of women as promised, she said. Similarly, the education of children would be taken care of right from primary school to post graduation as promised by YSRCP, YS Bharathi said. She observed that YS Jagan was a man of commitment and would remain true to his word. Referring to Amma vodi scheme, she said that the mother of every student who is sent to school gets Rs 15000 under the programme. Under Rajanna Rajyam, Arogyasri would be strengthened and the government would bear the expenditure of treatment which would cross Rs 1000, as promised in Navarathnalu, she said.

YS Bharathi also assured DWCRA Women SHG that the YSRCP would waive their loans. She appealed to the voter not to fall prey to the lure of Chandrababu’s false promises. She also explained the benefits of Navarathnalu at length to voters.
