YSRCP Vows To Get Heritage City Tag For Rajahmundry

Rajahmundry: An action plan for all-round development for the city and its seven Assembly segments was prepared and announced by the YSR Congress Party's (YSRCP) candidate from the Rajahmundry constituency Margani Bharat Ram

Disclosing the details of his development plans for the constituency after becoming an MP, he said that he would build a stadium in the constituency with international standards. and an indoor stadium with facilities to at least 10 games.

Other than that he promised to make the century-old Havelock Rail Bridge a tourist spot and make the Lanka area a tourist hub. Portable drinking water was promised to be supplied to all four Assembly segments where the Godavari flows.

Moreover, A 200-acre site is allotted in Dwaraka Tirumala for an amusement park where various forms of Krishna will be displayed.

He said that he would fight to achieve a heritage tag for the city of Rajahmundry as it has a history of over 1000 years. Gowthami Regional Library will be elevated to become a central library.

All of the above plans were discussed with the YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and he had approved of it.
