Rayavaram (Mandapeta): YSR Congress Party state general secretary Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi flayed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo N Chandrababu Naidu's efforts to make his son Nara Lokesh the next CM.

Speaking to reporters here, she took a dig at Nara Lokesh saying that a person who could not even pronounce his constituency name Mangalagiri properly or could not differentiate between the Telugu words of ''Jayanthi'' and ''Vardhanthi'' (birthday and death anniversary) is given three ministerial portfolios.

Taking a dig at Naidu, Parvathi said that the CM had failed to provide employment to lakhs of people but ensured that his son got the ministership through unfair means.

People are ready to teach him a lesson if he continued looting the state, Parvathi added.

Calling the AP police as stooges of the ruling government, she said that the police machinery has completely failed in the state, adding that Naidu was using the police to commit atrocities, including foisting false cases on the opposition leaders and party cadres and creating a sense of fear among them.

Hitting out at Naidu's alliance with Congress, Parvathi said that Naidu had subjected YSRCP supremo Jaganmohan Reddy to various harassments including filing false cases, but Jagan was not discouraged and stood strong which shows his commitment to the service of the people.

She signed off asking people to make their choice as to who they wanted as their leader.
