Vijayawada:Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal exposed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu over his stand on the Special Category Status to AP, in Vijayawada. He released to the media the letter written by Chandrababu to the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on October 24 2016.

It is learned that the letter explains how the state should be helped with the help of Special Package.

Piyush Goyal recalled that TDP had passed a decision in Mahanadu held in 2017 that SCS should be rejected and the special package should be accepted and another letter sent by AP Assembly thanking Union government for grant special package to AP on March 16, 2017. The BJP leader observed that as TDP is facing incumbency the party walked out of the alliance with BJP to blame the Union government. He opined that Chandrababu forging an alliance with the Congress party, which is responsible for late NT Rama Rao losing power is outrageous.

BJP state president Kanna Laxmi Narayana said that Chandrababu is inciting violence among the two states with an eye on electoral gains. He wanted to know if Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan have no properties in Hyderabad. He also ridiculed Nara Lokesh about his statement that Machilipatnam port will be taken over by KCR. Another leader IYR Krishna Rao added that the BJP manifesto is developed in a such a way that all sections of society will be benefited through it. BJP leader remarked that Chandrababu is criticising Narendra Modi for his political gains.
