Hyderabad: Actor, director Posani Krishna Murali lashed out at Jana Sena founder, Pawan Kalyan for his irresponsible statements that people from Andhra were being beaten up in Telangana and challenged him to prove it. Posani added that Pawan Kalyan was parroting similar nonsense which appeared in a section of the "yellow media" that YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was backing people responsible for such attacks on people of Andhra region in Telangana. The actor, director addressed media persons on Saturday in Ameerpet in the city.

Pawan Kalyan should remember who he was backing in the past Posani said, and showed related video clippings to media persons. He reminded Pawan Kalyan of his statement that KCR was a good CM and that Telangana leaders should serve as inspiration. Posani said that Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu should not whip up regional divide for the sake of a handful of votes.

Posani challenged Pawan Kalyan to prove his statement that KCR was grabbing lands of Andhras. "I will bow down to your feet if you can prove this," Posani said. He posed a direct question to the Jana Sena founder asking whether his assets and properties and those of his brother, implying mega star Chiranjeevi, had ever been harmed in Hyderabad in any way or whether either of them had been threatened.

The actor, director stated that it was TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu who was responsible for legendary actor and TDP founder, former chief minister NTR's death in Hyderabad. It was a leader from Andhra who was responsible for the death of an iconic figure from Andhra, he pointed out. Are the people of Andhra safe in Andhra?, Posani questioned. He recalled that a lady officer of impeccable integrity, Vanajakshi was chased and thrashed by TDP leaders. "Doesn't Pawan Kalyan know that it was TDP leaders who were responsible for this", he questioned.

Posani wondered why Pawan Kalyan was compelled to read lines from script provided by Chandrababu Naidu. If an MLA joined YSRCP because TRS leaders threatened him over a piece of land, as Chandrababu and Pawan are saying, did the AP chief minister threaten 23 YSRCP MLAs and blackmail them into joining TDP? Posani added that Pawan Kalyan seemed to forget the derogatory statements made by Chandrababu Naidu about womenfolk in the mega family when Chiranjeevi set up his Praja Rajyam Party. "Who will be responsible for any unforeseen incidents arising out of such provocative statements", Posani asked. He concluded saying that people of Andhra were safe in Telangana and advised Pawan Kalyan to do good rather than make such irresponsible statements which caused divisiveness.
