Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party gets a huge shock in Kovvur, West Godavari as a senior leader and former MLA TV Rama Rao resigns from the party. TDP supremo N Chandrababu is failing to pacify the rebel candidates of the party in Guntur.

Former MLA TV Rama Rao left the party, on the same day TDP candidate from the constituency Vangalpudi Anita started her election campaign. It is learned that Rama Rao has sought that ticket for his daughter.

However, the ticket is offered to Pakayarao pet MLA Anita, instead of a localite. Former TDP leader added that he resigned from the party because of the injustice done to him by Chandrababu.

While the rebel leaders in the party are on the rise in Guntur. TDP has offered the Macharla ticket to Anji Reddy, this has been severely objected by the supporters of Chalama Reddy.

They opined that people, who had been working for the party should be given preference over the leaders who have recently joined the party.

They warned that the higher leadership in the party are going to make Anji Reddy lose in the upcoming election.

In another instance, Budda Raja Shekar Reddy from Banganepalle in Kurnool district and BC Janardhan Reddy are staying away from the election campaign.

It is learned that Janardhan Reddy is scared of losing the elections with the rapidly changing political equations. Almost 100 TDP cadre had joined YSR Congress in the native village of Janardhan Reddy.
