Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's claim that the Sevamitra app contained only information related to TDP members has been conclusively nailed by his own official—CEO of RTGS, Ahmed Babu from details revealed in a video.

The TDP government first harvested data in the name of monitoring welfare schemes and later synced the details including personal information of citizens of AP with the Sevamitra app. It got this app developed by private firms for the government and then synced the data thus gathered with the TDP data in Sevamitra tabs. Sakshi is in possession of a video which explains details with regard to the app developed by the government. Interestingly, this app is identical to the sevamitra app in terms of the information it has with respect to residents. The code numbers assigned to individuals in both the apps are similar. In the case of the government app, it was developed on the specific instructions of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu for real-time governance (RTGS). CEO of RTGS, Ahmed Babu revealed this saying that the government developed the app to monitor welfare schemes as also details of farmers who had registered their land in AP government's web land.

On June 21, 2018, Ahmed Babu gave a presentation to the chief minister and other senior IAS officials on the app and its functioning. This video was accessed by Sakshi.

In his presentation Ahmed Babu made the following observations.

* Personal information of 1.40 crore families in AP have been synced with the app.

* The details of the head of each household along with information on other members of the house has been gathered.

* Data regarding benefits under various welfare schemes is also available in the app

* RTGS has assigned an ID number for each individual. Clicking on this number would reveal his photographs, aadhaar card number, name, phone number, income and other details which would appear on the screen of the app.

* Details with regard to land owned by the individual, number of days for which he/she had worked under employment guarantee scheme, names of those who had been allotted house, beneficiaries of Chandranna Pelli Kanuka, ration supplies, amounts under Pasupu Kumkuma schemes to DWCRA women and other details were integrated into the app. A call to the toll free number 1100 would display the details of the individual because of the way in which they were synced. By june 2018, details relating to 61 lakh people had been synced according to Ahmed Babu's presentation in the video.

* The app enables one to hold a video conference from anywhere

* Every aspect of the app is accessible by chief minister Chandrababu Naidu

Ahmed Babu further revealed that details of these individuals were first collected by party sympathisers who reached out to as many as 1.40 crore families. Each volunteer was assigned 35 families. Later, however, the government changed its plan to use these party sympathisers/volunteers. They transferred the data to the tabs of TDP booth committee members though the app was first developed for Sadhikara Mitras (party sympathisers).
