Nellore: Followers of YSRCP leaders Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Mekapati Gautham Reddy organized a programme - ‘Anam-Mekapati Aatmeeya Sammelanam’ in Atmakur on Saturday. The programme was conducted as an effort to end the speculation regarding the difference between the two leaders. Both the leaders along with former MP Mekpati Rajamohan Reddy participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy heaped praises on YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for taking up the 13 month-long Padayatra to understand the problems of the people in the state.
Stating that the people of Andhra Pradesh have been waiting for the leadership of YS Jagan, he recalled the efforts put in by him and Rajamohan Reddy for the development of Atmakur segment in 2009.
The former finance minister said the victory of Atmakur YSRC nominee, Gautham Reddy is certain and asserted that people should also elect Rajamohan Reddy as the MP.
Rajamohan Reddy also addressed the party leaders at the gathering, wherein he criticized Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for failing to fulfill over 600 promises he made during the elections adding that the people of AP are fed up with TDP's undemocratic governance, hence the time has come for the party to take a backseat.
