Nandyal: The Telugu Desam Party(TDP) leaders are trying very hard to mislead the people of Andhra Pradesh over the data breach scam. As a part of the process, they have started a mudslinging campaign on the opposition YSR Congress Party(YSRCP). Presently it is by Health Department Minister NMD Farooq from Nandyal.

It is learned that the TDP minister has started propaganda saying that seven votes from his family have been deleted by the YSRCP leaders.

NMD Farooq claimed that his wife Mehabooba Chand, son Fayaz, other family members Shabran Sultan, Yasmeen Mobin, Sify Fathima and Farhana’s votes have been deleted from 72 polling booth in Mulanpet. However, it is with the family’s negligence that the votes have been deleted and the deletion happened in November 2017, it is learned.

Officials have tried to enroll their names in the list during the by-elections in Nandyal but the family did not respond. Meanwhile, both the MLA and his son have been active in politics and their votes have been retained. But the minister is seen pointing fingers at YSRCP and blaming the party leader for no reason.

When contacted over the issue returning officer Ram Mohan denied any information and added that he was not responsible for the deletion, which took place a while ago. It is learned that the family members of the minister have applied for the vote through form-6 recently.

YSRCP leader Zakir added that people of AP are watching what the TDP government has been doing that is deleting the votes of YSRCP supporters. He rubbished the comments that YSRCP has been deleting votes through form-7.
