Vijayawada: Senior YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and chief secretary Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy flayed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh over their involvement in the data breach scam, on Thursday at the party office in Vijayawada.
He added that YSRCP is being blamed by TDP supremo and his son to mislead the people over the theft of data from the AP government. YSRCP leader questioned if the sensitive data about the citizens of AP was not misused, then why did the CEO of IT Grid Private Company Limited Dakavaram Ashok go into hiding. He pointed out that TDP leaders got the data from IT Grids and later deleted their votes from the list.
The YSRCP leader observed that IT Grid has deployed employees across the state to collect data and delete the names of YSRCP supporters from the voter's list. The YSRCP chief secretary declared that the Seva Mitra App unlawfully holds the details like Aadhar card details, location and bank account information of all voters.
Misuse of Form 7, will be investigated by the Election Commission, he said and challenged TDP to reveal the truth behind the Seva Mitra app; the information they possess along with how it is being put to use. Meanwhile, leader of opposition Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is going to grace the Samara Sankharavam meeting that will be held on March 13, 2019, at 3:00 pm in the Ramavarappadu Ring Junction in Vijayawada. In this meeting, YS Jagan will address the party workers, booth level committee conveners and cadre of all Assembly segments.
