Konda Reddy Fort Damage: Jana Sena To Pay Up   

Crowds that came to witness Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan’s road show, left the Konda Reddy Fort, a national monument, in a damaged state on Sunday.

The assessment of damages can only be done by a panel commissioned by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). Police and political leaders Put the ASI Through intense pressure to withdraw the complaint lodged with the Two Town Police. This was a complaint lodged by the ASI gardeners and non-technical staff filed this complaint regarding damage to the fort.

An official revealed that the representatives of the Jana Sena Party offered to pay for damage to the flower pots and electrical fittings. They extracted an undertaking for the Jana Sena representatives to abide by the final damage assessment.

No case would be filed if a compromise was worked out between the ASI and Jana Sena, said the Two Town police.
