Unhappy Over Chandrababu’s Porata Deeksha: YSRCP Anam

Nellore: YSR Congress leader and former minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy lambasted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu over the latter’s Dharma Porata Deeksha, a series of public meetings.

Talking to the media here on Monday, the YSRCP leader said Chandrababu should stop trying to deceive the people with his dramatics for Special Category Status.

Ramanarayana Reddy remarked that Chandrababu had criticised people for demanding Special Category Status and even said it is not ‘Sanjivini’. YSRCP leader observed that the estimate of Polavaram Project was Rs 16,000 crore but was later raised to `54,000 crore for the benefits of Chandrababu’s son Information and Technology Minister N Lokesh.

Ramanarayana pointed out that Chandrababu had not received the Prime Minister visiting AP, he reminded that when PM Rajiv Gandhi was in the state to learn about the drought the former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao accompanied him and he added that Chandrababu has insulted Narendra Modi with this move.

Anam Ramanarayna Reddy demanded Chandrababu to remove minister Sidda Raghava Rao and Nakka Anand Babu from his cabinet as they did not follow his directives regarding Modi’s visit.

Former Minister revealed that Union government is paying Rs 1,50,000 for each house to be built under Housing for All Scheme and said Chandrababu should stop claiming the complete credit for it.

YSRCP leader added that Nara Lokesh has allegedly raised money to grant to each house along with Urban Development Minister P. Narayana for their personal benefits. Also present at the event was Sarveypalli legislator and YSR Congress district unit convener Kakani Govardhan Reddy and others.
