Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao has accepted the resignation of three MLAs’ on Friday.

This led to a debate between BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju and TDP Minister Atchannaidu. Beginning the war of words, the minister questioned Vishnu Kumar Raju as to why MLA Akula Satyanarayana from BJP had resigned. Countering it Vishnu demanded an answer from Atchannaidu about why TDP MLA Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy resigned from TDP.

Vishnu Kumar Raju criticized the state government by saying why it accepted the resignation of three MLAs’ and people are questioning why TDP has not sent out the 23 MLAs’, who switched over the party.

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu came to the Assembly in the protest wearing a black shirt. Many other TDP MLAs’ also followed the same dress code. BJP MLA observed that Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu knew about the funds granted by the Union government to the state, and that is why he was not in black. He added TDP has backed off since the leader of opposition Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has intensified the struggle for Special Category Status.

Talking about the statements made by the TDP on alliances between parties Vishnu Kumar Raju said, TDP claimed that YSRCP, Jana Sena, and BJP are together and all of a sudden they are hinting for an alliance again with Pawan Kalyan. It is TDP, which betrayed the parties in the alliance.
