Jaleel Khan’s Daughter To Get TDP Ticket?

Amaravati: Sitting TDP MLA of Vijayawada (West) Jaleel Khan announced that his daughter, Shabana, had been given the TDP Ticket to contest the assembly elections from Vijayawada (West) constituency. Jaleel Khan met the TDP supremo, Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday in Undavalli and is learnt to have requested him to give the ticket for his seat to his daughter.

The TDP supremo is learnt to have advised the aspirant, Shabana, to interact with the people of the constituency and work hard to earn their confidence. Later, Jaleel Khan met mediapersons and told them that Chandrababu Naidu had finalized his daughter, Shabana's candidature for Vijayawada (West) constituency in the upcoming elections. There was also a display of fireworks at Vijayawada near Jaleel Khan's house, it has been reported. However, the TDP supremo is said to have frowned upon Jaleel Khan's statement that Chandrababu had okayed Shabana's candidature.
