Hyderabad:Senior YSR Congress party leader Botsa Satyanarayana flayed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu, saying he was gripped by fear that the NIA was investigating the murder attempt on Leader of Opposition and YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Chandrababu’s letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi objecting to an NIA probe showed that he was scared of a proper investigation into the murderous attack on the life of the Leader of Opposition. He questioned Chandrababu Naidu’s intent.

Botsa added since the attack has taken place Chandrababu government and police are trying to sideline the issue, picturing it as a small one. In the letter Chandrababu had agreed that the murder attempt has taken place, but why did he forget to mention about the murder weapon, he asked.The senior YSRCP leader questioned the tone of the language used in the letter and said YSRCP is saying since the beginning that the attack has taken place under the supervision of Chandrababu Naidu, N Lokesh, state Intelligence DG Venkateswara Rao. To prove this the party has gone to the court and pleaded that the investigation should take place as per the laws of NIA and the Court directed accordingly, he added.

Botsa Satyanarayana said, Chandrababu claims he has experience of 40 years, but he is scared of a proper investigation in YS Jagan's case. In the term of Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy, TDP leader Paritala Ravi was murdered, and Dr. YSR ordered a CBI investigation on the case. If anything happens in the airport then it should be probed by NIA, he said.

As a Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu should should take responsibility for the attack, he observed. He even requested the people of AP to ponder about a chief minister who has criminal thoughts.
