Krishna District: In yet another instance of the high-handedness of the TDP, a scuffle took place in the Janmabhoomi program in Vuyyuru constituency. TDP MLA Bode Prasad, MLC Rajendra Prasad made false allegations against YSR Congress leader and former Minister Parthasarathy. Supporters of the leader could got infuriated at the allegations and started protesting there. Later both the sides got into a scuffle. TDP supporters behaved like goons when the YSRCP leaders questioned them over developmental issues, YSRCP leaders and workers said. Police came in and took control of the situation and sent Parthasarathi away from the area.

Rajupalem Janmabhoomi

In the Janmabhoomi program held in Rajupalem village, Kirlampudi Mandal, of East Godavari district an altercation broke out between police and the villagers. All the villagers objected to the program saying there was rampant corruption in the Rs 40,00,000 sanctioned for constructing toilets. They objected to MLA Jyothula Nehru’s presence in the meeting demanding a fair investigation into the case. Later a scuffle broke out between villagers and policemen. The MLA left the program saying that the issue will be looked into.

Janmabhoomi in Vijayawada

YSR Congress party corporator Shailaja demanded grant of houses for the eligible people in the Janmabhoomi held in ward no 59, in Vijayawada. Reacting to this TDP leaders became violent. Opposing it YSRCP supporters started protesting at the program and demanded action against the TDP leaders.
