TDP Minister Ayyanna Patrudu Abuses Women During Janma Bhoomi Program

Visakhapatnam: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) minister Ayyanna Patrudu is in the news yet again for all the wrong reasons, this time for using abusive language against women during a Janma Bhoomi committee program at Chinnapalem in Buchhayyapeta Mandal of Visakhapatnam district.

Reacting to the minister's comments, the agry women said the minister did not conduct himself like a person holding Office of a minister.

When a few women who were abandoned by their husbands asked the minister to provide pension, Ayyanna Patrudu spoke in an abusive manner. "It is okay to ask for pension if your husband is dead. How can you ask for pension if you do not know the whereabouts of your husband? A lot of women are asking for pension saying their husbands left them. They do not speak out on the whereabouts of husbands. Why should we give pension to them? They (husbands) might have fled unable to tolerate you people," he shouted.This angered women to no end who started protesting.
