Anantapur: In what could be described as the height of political degradation and trading of cheap barbs by a senior leader, TDP MP from Tadipatri JC Diwakar Reddy made derogatory remarks against the YSRP Chief and the AP Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan at a public meeting in Anantapur, all this while Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu remained a mute spectator.

YSR Congress Party senior leader and Rayachoti MLA G Srikanth Reddy reacted strongly to the language used by JC Diwakar Reddy. “Using such casteist remarks, JC Diwakar Reddy has stooped to the lowest level in public life and it shows the amount of insecurity that Chandrababu is suffering from because of YS Jagan,” he said. The TDP Manifesto has many policies based on caste and he is cheating people of Andhra Pradesh with these policies, he said. Crossing all acceptable limits and criticising YS Jagan is not correct but shooting from another person's shoulder is something Chandrababu is very adept at, he said further.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has spoken at many rallies but he has never been so discourteous about other leaders. YS Jagan who is always amongst the people through his Praja Sankalpa Yatra will certainly win the next elections and this fear in Chandrababu is making him commit such blunders, Srikanth Reddy concluded.
