BJP Complains To AP DGP Over Fake News In Jai Telugu Desam Website

Vijayawada: Bharatiya Janata Party (MLC) Madhav demanded stern action against the organisers of 'Jai Telugu Desam' website, who are spreading false propaganda against the BJP. Taking the issue on the website's promotion of false news, the party leaders gave a representation to AP DGP RP Thakur.

Addressing media after the meeting, MLC Madhav said false stories on BJP national Yuva Morcha were being spread by the website. "Certain miscreants have created fake screenshots of her WhatsApp chats. In the messages, Poonam Mahajan would demand money from the YSRCP leaders," he said.

He further said that there were baseless allegations over the mutual co-operation between BJP and YSRCP. Raising suspicion over providing security for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming tour of Andhra Pradesh amid CM Chandrababu Naidu's call for protests that day, he said everyone was aware of the mastermind behind the attack on BJP national president Amit Shah in Tirupati.
