Hyderabad:After getting the glass tumbler symbol approved by the Election Commisison for his party, actor-politician and Janasena party president Pawan Kalyan was up for another bit of good news on Monday, when he learnt that his party received generous donations from his family members, actors Varun Tej and Naga Babu. As per a tweet from Pawan, Varun Tej donated Rs 1 crore to Janasena while Naga Babu, who is also a producer, donated Rs 25 lakh.

Pawan said it was a surprise Christmas gift for his party to have received the donations. "My heartfelt thanks to Varun Tej for Rs 1 Cr donation & to my brother Nagbabu garu for Rs.25 lakh donation to JSP. It came as a surprise Christmas gift for the Party.I am truly grateful for what you both have donated. Once I am back,I will meet you up to convey my gratitude.," his tweet read.

Recently, the EC allotted the glass tumbler symbol as Janasena party's election symbol. Pawan conveyed his thanks to the EC for allotting the symbol in his tweet.
