HC Orders Open Auction Of Agrigold Assets For Rs. 600 Cr

Hyderabad: In a sensational verdict, the Hyderabad High Court today called for auctioning the Haailand resorts and theme park in the Agrigold case. The Court ruled that the theme park’s market value would be at least Rs 600 crore, in response to the management’s estimation of Rs 800 crore valuation. The court further directed that the bids be accepted in a sealed cover.

“On February 8, 2019, an open auction would be held in the Court Hall (High Court),” it ordered asking the management to consider bids worth Rs 1,000 crores if it were to accept the bail petition. The Agrigold victims have expressed happiness over the ruling. The session was adjourned to 28 December.
