Vijayawada: YSR Congress party (YSRCP) general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy lambasted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for ignoring the interests of the Backward Classes (BCs). He called on people of the State to reject Chandrababu for trying to win the elections with monetary support.

Ramakrishna Reddy said Chandrababu always considered the BCs like a vote bank. Addressing the 'Vanchana, Naya Vanchana' program organised by the YSRCP student wing, he said the welfare of the BCs was possible only under the leadership of YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He predicted that the next election would be a 'straight fight' between Chandrababu and the Leader of Opposition. Overall development of the State and welfare of the masses would be achieved under the leadership of YS Jagan, who is preparing a blue-print of the public issues which came to his notice during his padayatra, he added.

While the TDP government continues to be indifferent to the public issues, YS Jagan is the lone crusader of the state’s rights and public causes and is a ray of hope to suffering millions across the state. The four years of Chandrababu's misrule have left AP in a state of complete darkness with every democratic institution coming under threat, he asserted. The people of the State are tired of Chandrababu's autocratic rule, he observed.

"Everyone is waiting for the end of Chandrababu rule. Let us all work together to oust Chandrababu from power. We should work hard in the next four months," he said to the party workers.
