Visakhapatnam: Leader of Opposition Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy suffered a shoulder injury after he was murderously attacked with a knife by a waiter at a restaurant in the VIP lounge of Visakhapatnam airport on October 25. The case is under investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT). Now, it is learned the police will not question the owner of Fusion foods restaurant in the airport, Harshavardhan Prasad Choudary. Sources say that the police are unlikely to question him due to his proximity to the top TDP leadership, including AP chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu.Till now, only the attacker Janupalli Srinivas has been questioned. His co-workers including women were questioned. Harshavardhan Prasad Choudary was not questioned and was seen leisurely strolling in the police station, it is learnt, parking his vehicle in front of the no parking sign.
The accused Janupalli Srinivas has a criminal background, which was not considered before employing him in the restaurant. Why was he allowed go into the airport carrying a deadly knife with him. Why was he being paid more than others? There seems have been a sinister plan to attack the leader. Who was responsible for the attacker getting a No Objection Certificate from the police?

Moreover, Harshavardhan is also said to have left the airport just 10 minutes before the attack, according to informed sources. Harshavardhan could hold the key to unravelling the conspiracy behind the murderous attack. However, he is being shielded it is being said, by none other than those in the highest rungs of TDP leadership.
Meanwhile, investigation into the case has been taken up by Bureau of Civil Aviation Security of India(BCAS). On Thursday officer Paul from Hyderabad visited the airport and spoke to the officers present there. He examined the location and learnt about details of the attack from the personnel present there.
