Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh will witness real Diwali only when the demon of Narasura is decimated in the 2019 elections as Chandrababu Naidu has stooped to rock bottom and has been making a vain bid to project himself as a key player in national politics, stated a YSR Congress Party leader.

Speaking to media here on Tuesday party senior leader Anam Ramanarayana Reddy said, "Chandrababu has been a dwarf on the national scene as the bi-polar polity of the nation has seen the emergence of NDA and UPA. It is only to divert the trouble back home after the attack on Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did he eagerly plead to rub shoulders with Congress President and not to cobble up a Front as being claimed by his friendly media."

The shift from NDA to UPA was the political compulsion of Chandrababu Naidu who, along with his cabinet colleagues and law enforcing wing working under them, are responsible for diluting the probe into the attack on the YSRCP chief at Vizag airport, he said. "The AP government attempted to side-track the Vizag attack case by airing frivolous issues of little or no consequence within hours of the incident, despite the fact that the top brass of police and bureaucracy are camping in Amaravathi.

The DGP airs his views openly which was picked up by the Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues all of which were aimed at painting the incident as a minor issue without bringing in the provision of 120 (b) to probe the conspiracy angle and going in for the details of the who has conspired and engineered the attack, he said.

When a minor thing such as a post in social media was taken very seriously by the TDP government, how is it that the Operation Garuda theory and its propagator, Shivaji was left unquestioned as he had openly put on public domain his views that there would be an attack on a top politician? Or is Operation Garuda too part of a larger conspiracy is a point that needs to be answered, he said.

The economy of the state has been in a shambles as the Chandrababu Naidu government has increased the quantum of loans by adding Rs 1.5 lakh crores and it has only benefitted the TDP leadership and its coterie that got exorbitant rates for contracts and nothing was spent on welfare measures or for the benefit of people, he said.
