Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing on the writ petition filed by Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress party (YSRCP) Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to Tuesday. Finding fault with the unfair manner in which the AP Police were handling the investigation on the attack on him in the VIP lounge of Visakhapatnam airport last week, the YSRCP Chief on Wednesday filed a writ petition seeking an investigation by an agency that does not come under the State government's ambit.

In the writ petition, YS Jagan mentioned that the attack was a part of a larger conspiracy. Meanwhile, the High Court heard the arguments with respect to a petition filed by former YSRCP YV Subba Reddy.

The High Court stated that the hearing on the matter would be undertaken along with the PIL filed earlier seeking CBI investigation. The PIL mentioned that the attack on the AP Leader of Opposition was a result of security lapse at the airport.
