Amaravathi: After the murder attempt on AP Leader Of Opposition and YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Visakhaptnam, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's undignified responses to the attack have rocked the state and also put the TDP government in an embarrassing situation.

The latest we hear is that the TDP chief has instructed the police officials to inform the court that the YSRCP president was refusing to cooperate with AP police. He is also belived to have discussed the progress of the case with DG Intelligence A B Venkateswara Rao and made this statement. Chandrababu reportedly said that if YS Jagan refused to cooperate, a petition informing the court about the same must be filed by the police.

The Andhra Pradesh police on Sunday said that the recent attack on YSRCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy at the Visakhapatnam airport was an attempt to murder him. The police made this claim in a remand report that was submitted to a local court, while seeking custody of the accused.

This came up even as the YSRCP leaders planned to approach the President of India and demand a third party probe, as they said that did not trust the investigation by state authorities.
