Vijayawada: TDP has no moral right to comment on YSRCP MPs' resignations asserted former Ongole MP and senior YSR Congress party leader YV Subba Reddy . Talking to the media here, he said TDP has been looting the state indiscriminately to further its own selfish interests.

"TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, and finance minister Yanamala RamaKrishnudu commenting on our resignations is not right. They do not have any moral standing in the matter. Chandrababu is swindling crores of rupees and is in touch with both Congress and BJP", he said.

YV Subba Reddy asserted that it is the YSR Congress party chief, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and its leaders and party workers who have fought relentlessly for special category status to Andhra Pradesh, and for justice to the state, he said. When YSR Congress party gave notice for a no trust motion against the NDA government, it was not taken up for discussion, whereas the TDP's notice was taken up in the Lok Sabha, he pointed out.

The former MP and senior YSRCP leader said that no action had been taken against the 23 turncoat MLAs and added that though the YSRCP lodged a complaint on defector-MP Butta Renuka, had any decision been taken, there would have been a strong possibility of election.

It is must be recalled that Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh admitted on the floor of the Lok Sabha that Chandrababu remained the BJP's dear friend. YV Subba Reddy further clarified that it was the YSRCP party MPs, leaders and workers who got arrested protesting for special category status to Andhra Pradesh.

The senior YSR Congress party leader said that the party MPs had resigned from the Lok Sabha on April 6,2018 protesting against the denial of special category status to the state, as also implementation of the assurances and commitments made in the AP State Reorganisation Act.

TDP and BJP have both have hoodwinked the public and by resigning for the interests of the state, the YSR Congress party MPs have clearly proved their commitment and transparency, he said.
