Anantapur: The war of words between TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy is continuing unabated. It all started with the MP calling policemen eunuchs not acting against the Prabodhananda Ashram in Chinnapolamada in the district, in violent incidents involving JC's followers and Ashram inmates.

Police officials were certainly not amused by the MP's remarks. Representatives from the police officers' association reacted strongly to JC Diwakar Reddy’s comments. In an interaction with media men here, they threatened to cut the tongue of anyone who spoke in a way belittling them. CI Madhav twirled his moustache on the occasion saying that the fact that they joined the police force was proof of their masculinity.

In a latest twist to the ongoing war of words, JC addressed the media today and challenged the police officials to cut his tongue if they could. He further dared the police officer to quit his job saying that he would leave politics. They could then test their strength, he said. The TDP MP further said that he would be traveling after the 25th and asked the police officials when they wanted him to come.
