Dharmabad: In a jolt to Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the Dharmbad Court today rejected the recall petition filed by the advocates who represented him. In connection with the Babli project protests case, the Court ordered that Chandrababu, despite being a Chief Minister, should attend the Court proceedings. The Court ruled that along with the remaining 16 TDP leaders, the AP CM should attend the next Court session on October 15.

Earlier this month, the Maharashtra Court issued non-bailable warrants against 19 TDP leaders, including Chandrababu.

KS Rathnam, Gangula Kamalakar and Prakash Goud, who had attended the Court, have been issued bail.

The TDP Chief had sent his lawyers, who had asked for four weeks time, to file a recall petition in the Court. However, the Court maintained that it could not give special treatment to anyone.
